Working With Women in Business to Boost Resilience

Reframing the ideas women have about who they are, who they think they should be and what they are capable of

There is an issue when it comes to resilience for Women in Business.

Research shows that when it comes to extremes, say famine or epidemics, women are more resilient than men and more likely to survive.

So why is it that in the microcosm that is corporate culture, women often feel like they are unable to cope, that they are not up to the task, that they might not survive?

This is what The Reframe is here to explore and answer.

It’s a coaching methodology for ambitious women who are feeling stuck, that enables them to explore what’s getting in their way, discover tools to build their capabilities and as a result, elevate resilience.

This coaching methodology is based on my own experience.

I worked for over 15 years as a Director in some big corporate PR consultancies including FTI, Hill & Knowlton and freud communications. The issue that affected me most throughout my career was resilience. While it looked like I was doing well on the outside as I got promotions, payrises etc, I would often feel isolated, overwhelmed and incapable.  As a result I became utterly exhausted to the point where I was diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.

Are you ready to move beyond yourself?

Fast forward five years and I am a far happier, buoyant and resilient individual.  What has moved me forward is a commitment to becoming fully aware of the stories I was telling myself about who I was and who I should be, letting go of this and exploring the space that was left. It’s this perspective, experience and knowledge that I bring exclusively to clients in my coaching practise.

‘A good half of the art of living is resilience.’

Alain de Botton

I have found my coaching sessions with Tash beyond valuable.

I am at the beginning of my entrepreneurial journey and I am able to share every aspect of that with her. Tash offers a fabulous perspective and has the ability to get to the root of challenges and provide expert advice on how to overcome them both logically and emotionally. I leave each of my sessions feeling super energised, positive, and ready to go!”

I have found my work with Tash more insightful than over a year’s worth of CBT.

The way she employs a mixture of practical coaching and therapeutic, emotional tools, is something I find really powerful and I’m looking forward to continuing my work with her to see how far it can take me.
